Natural
Gold Quartz is cut into cabachons taken directly
from the mine and mounted into the jewelry. Due to the rarity
of jewelry quality gold Quartz it is highly prized and sold by
the carat. Prices vary depending upon the grade, the highest grades
being milk white quartz with viens of pure yellow gold. The black
and silvery colored streaking is caused by pegmatite (iron) in
the quartz.
